Dear Rahul, It is not necessary to appear for the LPU NEST exam in order to take admission in LPU for the B.Tech degree programme if you have 85 or more percentile in your JEE-Mains exam 2021. You will be exempted from the LPU NEST exam if you have a good percentile in JEE-Mains. Hi, Due to the current situation I. e. COVID-19, the eligibility criteria is a bit relaxed and the admissions are being done online. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU NEST will be exempted in case student has scored more than or equal to 90 percentile in JEE Mains or 90% aggregate marks in 10+2. For admission, you have to visit the website as admissions are being done online due to the current situation.

B.Tech programme, it is compulsory to appear in LPU NEST for eligibility. There are few programmes where LPU NEST is mandatory for eligibility. Otherwise you can register for the test in order to avail scholarship. -

Rahul, if you have 90% or more in class 12 or 60% in class 12 and 80 marks in JEE, you are exempted of LPUNEST. Otherwise you have to appear for it.
