    No, it's not that much. Since writing these MBA entrance exams is not about clearing them. They give scores / percentile. If you score better then broader options for top colleges will be open for you. Else for an average college they do accept a little less score.
    Also, group discussions, personal interview and your past academic records do matter to get admission in top MBA/ PGDM colleges.

    Hi,
    No, CAT is not compulsory for PGDM. There are many universities where you can get direct admission in PGDM.
