Is it necessary to clear jee main for admission in NIT,Raipur.?

Or if i get rank around 50000(gen) without clearing jee main so shall i get admission in chemical engineering seat in NIT,Raipur..and also i have the domicile of Chhattisgarh..

    not ony you have to clear JEE mains but have to score good marks in JEE and 12th board to get NIT's.

    Admission to undergraduate engineering/architecture programs for candidates from India at NITs shall include the performance in the class 12 exam/other Qualifying Examination and score in the Joint Entrance Examination,JEE (Main).
    Seats are reserved for domicile. But JEE is compulsory.
