B.Tech will be good for a programmer but it's not necessary. If your aim is to become a good programmer then you have to stick with your laptop and have to join a coaching institute. You can also take help from YouTube and other good websites like Codechef. I think you should take admission in B.Tec

Not necessary. You can become a "programmer" just by taking online courses and learning on your own. But a B.Tech helps you in a lot of ways.
