Is it necessary to do internships to successfully complete graduation in Psychology?

<p><strong>Compulsory internship is a part of some Psychology courses.</strong>&nbsp;Still, it may not be applicable to all the programmes of this course. However, irrespective of the mandate, it would be an added advantage for candidates to do an internship to establish their career in this field. &nbsp;The candidate must complete a two-year internship. Many students will benefit from this experience because they will receive on-the-job training.</p><p>A student will also understand whether or not the specialism is right for them. During this time, the candidate will profit from the satisfaction of serving others. Internships in clinical and counselling psychology may require approval from some reputable organisations since careers in mental health institutes may require an approved internship.</p>
