No, M.Sc. Is not necessary but it becomes priority for some institutions. B.Ed is must.

Hello,
You are eligible to become a teacher in government school, for that you need to do 1 year B.Ed programme from any recognized university and after that you have to apply for TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) entrance exam. Eligibility criteria for B.Ed:
