Is it necessary to have 75% in class 12th to become eligible for JEE Mains or do I need to get this score in both class 11th and 12th?

You just need to be in the top 20% in order to go for JEE. And the percentage scored in class 12 will be considered only. Instead, from next year onwards, class 12 marks will no longer be considered in the JEE.

Yes, it's necessary to score 75% in 12th. There's no need to get 75% in class 11th because many of the students don't get serious about 11th.
