No, it is not necessary to have all the knowledge about computers for B.Tech. A little basic information will help you. You'll have to work hard to understand the concepts related to B.Tech.

It is not necessary, but if you have little knowledge of computer from starting it will be a bonus point for you. It will be easy for you to grasp things.
