it is not necessary to take computer science in 11th and 12th to cope up in BE, you can learn whenever you want, but take proper guidance, teachers and books.

It would be a great decision to study computer science beforehand since many of my friends are having trouble with this challenging sub coz they didn't had it in their course during 11-12.

Not at all. In fact many of my friends who didn't have c/c+ in 11th and 12th are very good programmers today. In your first year you may feel that they have an advantage over you but the difference blurs over time. You can learn it easily during your first year and work towards higher algos and data structures after that.
