Is it necessary to have knowledge of C, C++ and other programming languages while pursuing B.Tech CS?

Well, it is not necessary to have knowledge of C/C+ if you are pursuing CS but you need to learn this in your 1st year as CS students, these are the basic languages and you should know these.

If you are a fresher in 1st year of graduation degree in CS then you should start developing/enhancing your knowledge in various languages.
