Is it necessary to have maths to pursue BCA?

No, some colleges do not require mathematics for BCA but for MCA, mathematics is compulsory. You will have to study mathematics in computer science. Basics of mathematics and good knowledge of computer fundamentals are enough to pursue BCA. -

Yes, mathematics must be there in class 12th because without mathematics you can't apply for BCA. You must have knowledge about computer also because it is based on elementary mathematics and computer. -

Even I.P. University is also giving chance to non maths background students but you need to study maths as a subject in BCA for 2 years and trust me, it's not at all tough. It's upto 12th level only. -
