    No, it's not necessary. Any state student can take the exam for admission.

    No, it is not necessary to have the domicile of UP if you don't belong to UP.

    No, it is not mandatory to have a domicile of UP. The university or the college you are going to join will see through it. You don't have to worry. Work hard.

    It is not necessary to have UP DOMICIL to appear in UPTU (now AKTU). You only need to provide your domicile certificate if you are from outside UP.

    The eligibility criteria for UPSEE is as follows:-
    Domicile eligibility:
    Candidates, those pass the qualifying examination from UP & those parent have domicile of UP can apply.
    If candidates pass the qualifying exam from outside UP, then they have to produce domicile certificate of their parents (Father or Mother only).
    Candidates, those pass the qualifying examination from outside UP & those parents (both Father & Mother) not have a domicile of UP can also apply. But they are only eligible to get admission into 10% seats in Technology/Architecture courses in private institutions affiliated to AKTU.
