Is it necessary to have work experience for MBA in Mass Production? What is the scope for MBA in Mass Production in USA?

Hi Hemil, Before you apply for the MBA please remember that you will need a work experience of 2 to 3 years before applying. You must also give the GMAT and TOEFL. If you don't have a work experience you are not eligible for MBA unfortunately. Some XYZ college may admit you but this won't help you in your career. The closest you can get to Mass Production is a MBA in Production or Operations management. Alternatively you can opt for Masters in Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering etc. which do not require work experience but still will need a GMAT score. Career opportunities are plenty but quite competitive particularly for international students. Select a university wisely such as its location where manufacturing jobs are plenty. Some of the best universities in USA for your field are Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper), University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), Purdue University, West Lafayette (Krannert) and Indiana University, Bloomington (Kelley). Visit the websites and understand the admission requirements to get more clarity.
