Is it necessary to have work experience to be eligible for the admissions?

Nope, nothing like that. You get a little advantage in your PI process, but you can make up for it by having other factors in your favor (such extra curricular activities, NGO work, good scores in entrances, etc)

It is not necessary to have work experience to get admission. Work Experience is just an add on.

No, work experience is not an eligibility criteria .
The primary filtering is based on entrance exam scores

No there is no such requirement like work experience in MMS/PGDM.
