Is it necessary to join coaching as I want to give CAT 2017? If not, can you provide some details of the books for the same?

The coaching is not mandatory to crack CAT exam, but it will definitely help you to be on the right track. You can consider TIME for coaching and Arun Sharma's book are quite popular. For strengthening GK, you should read newspapers regularly. For improving your vocabulary, you can go through the
