If you are an arts student and interested in lectureship, then You have to prepare for UGC NET exam.
UGC NET is the test for students who are willing to pursue their career further as a Junior Research Fellow or an Assistant Professor.
But you have to pass the eligibility criteria for NET exam.
For general category candidates, it is 55% in Master's degree or equivalent degree.
For ST/SC/OBC/ PWD candidates it is 50 percent marks.
