Is it necessary to pursue PGDM from a university recognised by AIU in order to get a government job?

I am talking about the government jobs which have MBA as the eligibility criteria.

It is important because almost all the companies will go for background study of students. If the college is not properly approved then they will reject your application.

But there are some colleges which have PGDM and has AICTE affiliation. So, will it be right for doing PGDM from those colleges?
