No, it is not necessary to qualify LPUNEST to pursue an MBA from LPU. The university offers admission based on merit in the qualifying degree (bachelor's degree) or through national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or NMAT. However, appearing for LPUNEST can help students qualify for scholarships, reducing their tuition fees. If you meet the minimum eligibility criteria, such as a bachelor's degree with the required percentage, you can apply for direct admission.

It is recommended to check LPU's official website or contact the admissions department for the latest details on eligibility, scholarships, and admission procedur

    Hi there,

No, qualifying LPUNEST is not mandatory for admission to MBA at LPU, but it depends on certain factors:

    1. Direct Admission – If you have a valid score in CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, or GMAT, you may be exempted from LPUNEST. LPU accepts these national-level entrance exams for MBA admissions.

    2. LPUNEST for Admission & Scholarship – If you don't have a valid score in the above exams, you may need to appear for LPUNEST, as it serves as both an entrance test and a scholarship test. Qualifying LPUNEST can also help you avail scholarship benefits based on your performance.

    3. Interview Round – In some cases, after qualifying LPUNEST or

LPU does provide scholarships, and to be honest, that's one of the positive aspects of the university. Many students end up receiving some kind of fee assistance because they have a variety of scholarship alternatives depending on LPUNEST performance, academic background, sports, cultural accomplishments, and even unique categories. Many of my classmates received scholarships at the time of entry, and some went on to receive performance-based incentives in the future. In general, LPU seeks to increase access to high-quality education by rewarding students who demonstrate academic or other aptitude.
