Is it necessary to score 75% in HSC in order to get admission in NIT?

Hi,
As per new rules, 75% is necessary in boards to get admission in NIT/IIT/IIIT/GFTI/DTU /NSIT/state Govt. colleges.
If you have cleared JEE Mains but not having 75% in boards then your seat in NIT will be rejected.
However, SC/ST/OBC category get some relaxation in board percentage. SC/ST needs 6

I cannot say because when I was doing reporting there were some aspirants whose board's percentage was around 73. They were allowed to get a seat.
So I think you should go for the counselling.
