Is it necessary to score a minimum of 75% in HSC in order to get admission in NIT for B.Tech?

According to new eligibility condition either candidate have 75% + marks in class 12th or you have to be place in top 20 percentile in your 12th class board.

Is 75 for CBSE calculated on the best of 5 basis out of 6 subjects (additional sub. included).
