Is it necessary to take admission in specialised iculinary courses to be a chef or I can take admission in Hotel Management Degree also?

If you see master chefs arounds like Kunal Kapoor, Raveer Brar, Sanjeev Kapoor all have done degree in Hotel management first and then they opted and followed their passion of culinary. One can choose any path as both are vitals in its own sense. However doing Bachelor's in Hotel Management opens more avenues for a person post completing the graduation. Institutes like AAFT offer courses in both stream for a suitable candidate.

No it in not necessary to take admission in specialised in cunilary course to be chef, he/she can do B.Sc or Bhm in hotel management or Diploma in hotel management. Hotel hire chefs from both categories. Many executive chefs in big hotels actually started with BHM .

 The students can enrolled in degree courses (BHM) also to become a Chef in hotels. The duration of degree courses are for 3/4 years whereas specialised Diploma courses in culinary is for 1 year.  There are multiple of institution who is providing courses in hospitality . in delhi ncr the institutes
