Coaching/ Online any option for ICET exam preparation is fine. The private institution will help you n facilitating some tips and tricks, common misconceptions, common mistakes students generally commit. Online will be a virtual preparation method. Not at all, coaching is not necessary. But, if you think that you need coaching, then you may try. But, it is not compulsory to join coaching. There are so many options available online you go through it.

ICET is an entrance exam for MBA and MCA courses in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It is conducted in the month of May every year.
There is no such thing as necessary, but try to solve ICET question papers right from 2011 to 2017 and if you find a problem then you can think about it. many websites are there which provide online free classes.

With an Andhra Pradesh ICET rank of 2644 for the year of 2025, you have a fairly good opportunity to get into an MCA seat at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College, Vizag, particularly because you're included as a reserved category candidate. The general category for MCA closed in 2024 with a rank of approximately 14376, but even lower for the reserved category. The college itself has 60 seats and has decent placement records with a median package of 4.2 LPA. Watch out for the counseling rounds and web options. Your rank is good enough, so go ahead and apply without hesitation and keep this college higher during the choice filling!
