is it necessary to take maths as an optional subject if i am determined to do CA?
Actually in our school scientific maths is taught that is why I have taken computer in place of it

Hi Nishit,
Well there is no such condition to have pursued Maths so to able to get in CA, but then it is always seen that there are general calculations involved and requirement of strong accountancy base is very important and beneficial. And this is why having studied maths is considered a better

Maximum to my knowledge, Math is not necessary for CA. What i heard is:
u can pass c.a without having maths bcoz 50 questions are asked, and from maths it
contains some ques. 0f 10 n some of 11 but if u answer eco,acc n b.s ques. well then u can pass the entrance without it
