Is it necessary to take the CAT exam for admission into an MBA course?

No, its not necessary to get admission in MBA as there are so many other entrance exams and some colleges even give admission without any entrance but CAT is a prestigious exam and its score is considered in many institutes so it is preferable to give this exam.

It depends actually. Other than CAT, there are two more all India exams for admission into the MBA courses - XAT and MAT. Apart from these, there are plenty of business schools that also have their own entrance tests. Let me give you my example here, I got admission into Delhi Business Schoo
