Is it necessary to take up the help of coaching institutes to crack ielts acedemic? Can i prepare for the same on my own only?

No it is not necessary. Even when you join a coaching institute you actually have to prepare yourself only. Coaching institutes are just a help at places where you get stranded or for guiding you the path. If you are confident about studying without the aid of any coaching institute, it is all the b

I have not personally taken the IELTS but from what I have heard, IELTS is not very difficult to crack on your own and requires maximum a week or 2 to prepare if you are proficient in English. If are good in English, then you should self-prepare, otherwise opt for coaching.
