Is it not necessary to have the same subject in CUET that I had in 12th for DU? Both maths are considered the same?

Would it be a problem later during admission? I have core maths in 12th. Can I sit for applied in CUET?

Yes, it does not have to be a similar subject in CUET as 12th standard. For example, while Core and Applied Mathematics both are mostly treated as being the same for DU, it's always better to check eligibility criteria for courses and colleges. Some programmes may require specific subjects; hence, it is wise to consult the official admission guidelines for DU or contact its admissions office for confirmation.
