admisn in nift is possble after 3 mnths of actual admssn dats as many tyms seen in schuls.. ??? or at d tym of half compltion of session. if i start coachings fr enrnce exm at now, thn it wud b suffcient tym or not.?

    Hi Ashutosh,
    Practically speaking it is not possible to take admissions now in NIFT but yes you can sit for 2012 entrance exam in the month of February. NIFT admission test and the complete admission process is designed in a way to test a candidate on a variety of parameters like design aptitude, mental ability, creativity, sketching, communication skills and world view.
    There are two tests in the first stage:
    General Ability Test (GAT) for all courses
    Creative Ability Test (CAT) for design course or Managerial Ability Test (MAT) for apparel production, management and technology courses.
