Is it possible for army officer to become an IAS officer?
I wnt to know that if any body is a officr of indian army in permanant commision on such condition if it want to join IAS,is he eligble

Hi Mayank,
You could join the IAS/ IPS. However the crieterias are that a candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.
The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases for defence officers as mentioned below:
1. upto a maximum of 3 years
