    No, appearing for CAT/GMAT and having a valid percentile/score is a mandatory requirement.

    Most MBA colleges allot admissions based on CAT/GMAT, so it may be difficult to get admission in a good institute. However, some institutes may be open to allot admission into PGDM under various quota basis.
    However you could also start working and after gaining experience of 3 years you can seek admission in distance/part time MBA without the need of CAT/GMAT.
