Is it possible to appear for SAT more than 3 times?
It is preferred to appear for SAT maximum of 3 times. I am planning to appear for SAT exam and subject SAT twice, separately.

8 years agoHi Amisha, there is no rule stating SAT can be given only thrice. Research shows after three to five attempts your score and performance will most likely be the same. Hence test takers are encouraged to wrap it up in three attempts. If you take the test more than thrice it is not going to affect your application until and unless your scores are stagnant and you are not showing any improvement after repeated attempts. Also, admission decisions are taken by the university and depends on the overall application package of the applicant.
