Is it possible to apply for engineering college before my class 12th compartment paper?

I have got 66% in my 12th boards and 54 in jee mains but i have also got compartment in physics. its paper is on 16th of july and result is on 6th of august. so can i apply for any b.tech college before my compartment result ?

    Hi, no it is not possible, u have to clear the ur 12th exam, get the pass cerificate and then u can apply, however qip is accepted( quality improvement paper) as people appear for qip have the pass certificate, they give exam just to get more marks as they might not be satisfied with thier marks. but since u have a compartment and that too in physics which is the main subject , u have to wait till u get a pass cetificate. if its a private college, u may call up and ask if they accept. i guess good colleges wont accept.

    The best scheme for you would be to take admission in a college which we can say provisional, that is you take admission in a lower degree and inform the college about your compartment. Then before the last date of admission you can give the college your pass result and you will be transferred to the next higher degree. Check this scheme from some colleges like PES, LPU etc
