Is it possible to become a defence officer as well as engineer.
After 12th class ,any option to become both engineer and defence officer.

You can join Military College of Engineering.

There are number of ways to join army as an engineer. As a matter of fact, now a days, you could join any department as an engineer. In good old days, one could join only technical Arms of the Army/Navy/Airforce.
Firstly, you could join National Defense Academy and then do engineering in the Army.

You can do Engineering from any recognized college and join defense. You will be Engineer in defense.

To the best of my knowledge, you cannot do both together. However, after completing your B.Tech, you can opt for IES (Indian Engineering Service) conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
