It can be difficult to change your caste category in JEE Mains after you submit your application but before the results are announced. Generally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) provides a correction window during which modifications to the application details are permitted. During this time, you should correct your 2B category status if you have the required documentation. It is usually not possible to make such modifications after the correction window ends, thus it is imperative that you move quickly.
