Is it possible to do B.Ed through distance education without working as a teacher?

Hi,
Admission to the distance mode programme is merit-based. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in the undergraduate programme in any discipline and 55% in postgraduate programme. Along with this, candidates should have trained in-service teachers in elementary education or they must have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. -
