    Hi, Deepali
Yes, the diploma course from SCERT is valid. It is a full time two years course. A total of 1040 candidates in 9 DIETs and 1050 candidates in 17 Private ETE Teacher-Training Institutes are admitted each year.
You can pursue DIET from SCERT and graduation through non collegiate because one of the course is full time and other one is a correspondence course, both will be considered as valid courses.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to revert. Click on the thumbs up or mark it as the best, if you found this useful.
