Is it possible to get a rank between 100-300 in iit-2012 if i start preparation 6 months before it.
what should be my preparation pattern from now onwards,how many hours to study?

Truly speaking one cannot target ranks in a competitive exam just because you are unaware of the capability of other students giving the same exam and you do not know how much they are prepared. What you need to do target is extensive studies without leaving any topic, plus extensive practice by writing. And time duration for such an extensive study depends on person to person. It really cannot be confirmed if 6 months are good enough for someone. If you have the habit of making the basic fundamentals of subjects clear, if you are basically goodacademically and have good grasping power then perhaps 6 months or even less is suffic ient. -
yes it is possible , if you have good knowledge of you 11 class of all subject then it is easier to ge5 good rank in IIT , because maximum syllabus take from you previous science classes of 11 and 12 ,
