    Hello Pavan Kumar,
    Yes, of course you can get lateral admission directly into 2nd year of engineering in this famous deemed to be university. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about the whole process of getting admission in Manipal University. I am sure as you are a 'hard working' person, you will be working hard in your Diploma to understand subjects as well as get good marks.

    Yes, it is absolutely possible, but as per the branch, that you can have only on the basis of the results of your Diploma, as the branch is given on the basis of the merit list.

    Candidates who wants to take admission need to complete graduation and Post-graduation with 50% and for those who has done B.Tech, B.Sc and B.Sc Mathematicswith 55% can apply for B.Ed.
