It may be possible to get admission into a B.A. Honours Economics programme with 70% in HSC Arts stream. However, different universities have different eligibility criteria for admission into their programmes. For example, Jadavpur University requires a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate and 75% mark

Yes it's totally possible, but you should have had Maths in class 12. But you might not get top college unless you have reservation.
