Through its College of Engineering, California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) provides a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In spite of the university's emphasis on "Learn by Doing" and its provision of opportunities for practical research, internships, and industry projects, employment experience is not a prerequisite for admission to the B.Tech program.
