The University of Arkansas' MBA programme at the Sam M. Walton College of Business does not explicitly require work experience for admission. The admission requirements for the MBA programme at the University of Arkansas include a minimum GPA of 2.5, a GMAT score of 420 or a GRE score of approximately 300, and a completed application. Students at the University of Arkansas may be eligible for a GMAT/GRE test waiver with a 3.2 undergraduate GPA or 3 years of professional work experience.

    • A GMAT score is required for the Master of Arts in Economics (MAEcon) and the Master’s of Accountancy (MACC) programs. For all other master’s degree programs, students may be eligible for a GMAT/GRE test waiver with a 3.2 undergraduate GPA or 3 years of professional work experience. Students admitted to the Integrated Master of Accountancy programme (IMACC) who plan continuous enrollment into the Master of Accountancy programme do not need to reapply, but must submit an acceptable GMAT score. Please review our full master’s admissions catalog policy.
