Is it possible to leave B.Sc after the 1st-year and pursue B.Tech?

Yes, possible why not.
If you don't want to continue pursuing B.Sc then go with B.Tech.

Why do you want to change your stream? Just focus on your goals! Make a strategy and follow your goals! You will definitely achieve your goal one day!

Don't go for B.Tech, B.Sc is much better. B.Tech has no value in the market as I am also a technical graduate.
