Is it possible to prepare for IAS examination after the completion of my polytechnic?

No, it's not possible, because polytechnic degree is not a graduation degree, and for appearing in the IAS exam, you must have a graduation degree from any university approved by UGC in any stream and your age must have at least 21 years.
