    Yes you can do M.Tech without GATE. Many institute conduct their own entrance also apart from accepting GATE score. So don't worry and apply for institutions level entrance. All the best

    You can surely look up for the following options for M.Tech admission without GATE:
    IIIT Hyderabad PGEE-Test in April end, interview in June
    IIIT Delhi- Test and interview in first week of June, after shortlisting on the basis of B.Tech percentage
    IIIT Bhubaneswar- Test in May end
    BITS Pilani HD -Test in May
    BIT Mesra- Test in July
    Delhi University (electronics only) -Test and interview/GD in mid June
    JNU - Test in December
    IPUCET, Delhi- Test in May
    Jamia Millia islamia, Delhi - Test in June beginning
    Other options include- IIITM Kerala, NIST Odisha, NITTTR, NICMAR
    State level exams include- CUCET (for various states), TANCET (Tamil Nadu), PGCET

    If you want to pursue from really good college, yes. And if you just want to do M.Tech, then no.
    And let me tell you, almost all colleges in India and government / private sector jobs asks for GATE score.

    Yes Manish, you can pursue M.Tech without giving GATE also it is an great opportunity for you as you have recently completed your BE. Most of the popular universities will ask you for some or the other test but in Chandigarh University you can pursue for M.Tech by having more than 60% in your graduation.     Yes, it is possible to pursue M.Tech without GATE. You can apply for private colleges by visiting their official websites. You need to submit an application form.     Some states like Tamilnadu and Karnataka conduct equivalent examinations such as TANCET and PGCET. Private colleges may fill vacant seats from non-GATE category. Some deemed universities conduct their own admission tests.
