    MCA is a three-year (six semesters) professional Masters Degree in computer Science awarded in India. The course is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology in both software and computer hardware. Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) is a one year course designed by various universities for meeting the demand of the growing needs of junior technical roles in the fields of computers. Syllabus includes concepts of computers, internet, operating systems, office automation, programming languages, RDBMS, OOPS, Systems Analysis, etc.
