Is it possible to study abroad after completing short term course without appearing for IELTS exam?

I have done 2nd PUC.

    If the school or college you have applied for is ready to admit you without IELTS test then you do not require to take this test. Having said that, the schools which accept students without IELTS score may not credible enough, and based on that your Student Visa may be rejected by the consulate.
    I would suggest you should take the IELTS test to avoid any kind of hindrance in your student visa.
    If you don't belong to a native English speaking country then IELTS and TOEFL are basically needed to determine that you have sufficient English language ability to be able to participate in study and work related activities in those countries.

    If the college abroad is convinced with your English language skills and credibility of the short term course, it may be possible to study. IELTS may be waived, if you meet certain requirements. You must enquire about this to the college directly.
