Is it possible to study architecture after finishing a B.Tech. In civil engineering?

It is not advisable to pursue Architecture after doing Civil as you must have already spent 4 years for B.Tech and B.Arch is for 5 years (which sums up to 9 years in total!). .

Yes, it is possible to study architecture after finishing a B.Tech. In civil engineering. After completing B.Tech in civil engineering you can do M.Arch (Master in Architecture). For doing M.Arch you have to clear the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE exam after completing B.Tech. Eligibility criteria: You must have completed B.Tech with a minimum of 60 percent Marks from a recognised university. The GATE scorecard will be valid for 3 years. A list of Colleges that offer M.Arch;
1- Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT)
2- National Institutes of Technology (NIT)
3- Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BIT)
