Is it possible to switch to Govt. Sector Jobs like IES with 2 years experience in NSN?

i completed by B.Tech in ETC from KIIT University in 2009. I am working in NSN since Nov'09. I want to crack IES or atleast get into a PSU. Is it a sound decision at this stage? Will it help my career? If yes, how do i go for it? I have already started preparations.

Dear Payal..first you have to appear for IES. once you get selected then you will have advantage in facing the interview round as you are having experience..
