Is it possible to take break from my actuarial studies from IAI,Mumbai and pursue MBA and then resume with the actuaries course again?
im in 1st year bsc and also doing a correspondance course of actuarial science from institute of actuaries of india,mumbai.i wish to do mba after my degree so would it be possible to take a 2 yrs break from actuarial science studies for mba and then continue with actuarial studies along work later

Hi, for your question, the only answer you could get would be from the institute where you are currently doing your actuarial science studies. No one else may be able to answer this question for you. So speak to them and check if this is possible. Hope this helps.

Yes it is absolutely possible. But my query is you are already doing a great program, why you want to do MBA with a break of 2 years and again continue with Acturial Science? Do you doubt your qualifications? My personal advice, not to do this way rather concentrate on your present studies and

Although, there is no such system in any University in India whether through Correspondence or regular wherein you can discontinue a course for 2 years to do another course and come back and join the same course from where you left but you can talk to the Institute directly to confirm.
