Is it possible to take direct admission in agriculture college without giving PAT?

Hi Trilok, Candidates who have passed 10+2 in Science stream (class 12th) with physics, chemistry and maths/biology/agriculture as the subjects can opt for Bachelors degree as B.Sc Agriculture Science. The career scope for students of B.Sc agriculture is quite ample these days. You need to give an entrance exam conducted each year by ICAR by which one can get a seat in any Agriculture University throughout the country or you can go for the entrance tests conducted by each state agriculture university. The syllabus includes biology chemistry and physics. Preparation of these will help you clear. The degree is a 4-year honours programme.

Hi, PAT exam is a state level examination organized to offer admission in B.Sc (Agriculture), B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), B.Sc (Forestry) and B.Sc (Horticulture) courses. This exam is a gateway to the admission into various agriculture colleges and institutions. Every state organizes there pre-agriculture test.

Yes, It is possible, but most of the renowned colleges give admission on the basis of score in the exam.
