Is it possible to transfer after 1st year (B.Tech) from a private self financing college to a government self financing college under KTU?

College change or university change after first year is completely dependent on college and university norms, some university allow it and some won't plus you need to have good scores in first year to apply for the same. For further details, contact the college authorities.

Yes, According to the KTU University college transfer conditions (https://www.ktustudy.in/ktu-college-transfer), you can shift colleges once before the beginning of S3 or S5. Also, you can only move from between two self-financing colleges. (Including government-controlled). For more details, your
